The University of Phoenix is pleased to announce that the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest human resource management association, has designated it as a Recertification Provider to offer programs that qualify for recertification credits for the SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials.
As a member of the SHRM Recertification Provider network, the University of Phoenix will be able to provide professional development credits (PDCs) for its programs that relate to the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge.
“The Society for Human Resource Management is pleased to partner with the University of Phoenix to deliver high-quality training options to HR professionals who have obtained their SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certifications,” stated Alex Alonso, SHRM-SCP, SHRM’s Chief Knowledge Officer.
The SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP tests were developed in 2015, following years of study to determine the behavioral abilities and knowledge relevant to today’s global HR professionals. The SHRM BASK forms the basis for certification tests.
